Each shampoo bar weighs 100g and is handmade with love in the UK.
Work the shampoo into a lather in your hair. You can do this either by rubbing the bar in your hands and applying the lather to your hair, or gently rubbing the bar on your head in circular motions. Concentrate on the area around the scalp and work in the lather with your fingers.
Wash out the shampoo thoroughly. If you have dry, long or curly hair, you might want to apply a conditioner bar to the ends. Make sure to let your shampoo bar dry between uses.
Starting out with shampoo bars
If you're new to using a shampoo bar, you may have heard that there's a transition period as you switch away from chemical-laden shampoos. This can mean a period of greasy or frizzy hair as you gradually remove residue from your old shampoo and the natural oils of your hair come into balance. Remember, it will pass and you hair will feel much softer and healthier for it.
To reduce the transition period, make sure to use enough of your shampoo bar to wash your hair thoroughly (lather it not unlike your old shampoo). Then take extra care to wash all of it out, very carefully, as not doing this can contribute to the greasy feel. It's a bit different, but as with all new steps, you will soon learn the way that works best for you.
